Living in Nova Scotia means acknowledging a harsh reality: We are solar-powered creatures, but for six months of the year, someone unplugs the sun. The "Halifax Grey", especially in the winter months isn't just a weather pattern; it’s a physiological state. We go to work in the dark, we come home in the dark, and in between, we see a lot of fog.
